We established our service centre back in 2019, supporting Tesco’s operation in the Central European region. Our colleagues provide service for customers and colleagues of Tesco in Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia in several fields: finance, HR, customer service, product support, and enterprise analytics. Our dynamic teams drive and accelerate changes and we support the business in operating efficiently and serving our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.

Our operations.

People Solutions provides the brilliant basics for our colleagues at Tesco throughout their entire career, from hire to retire. Our mission is to deliver over 40.000 Tesco employees’ legally compliant, accurate and timely contracts, work related HR administration, salary calculations and payments. We achieve this through building our knowledge base tor labour law, tax regulations, data processing technology and employment processes at Tesco. Our work is supported by leading edge systems, with a growing scale of digitalisation, automation, and self-service solutions. Moreover, our power is in our colleagues, working together in a positive and innovative spirit, building a best-in-class People Solutions team in Central Europe.

Finance Services function provides support for the Central European businesses of Tesco in financial transactional area.
Our team in Budapest works together with all departments within the business, ensures payment of invoices and secures the right income tor Tesco. The Finance team consists of more than 100 multilingual colleagues providing services tor the Czech, Slovak and Hungarian markets.

Customer and Colleague Engagement Centre provides internal support for Tesco colleagues and external support for Tesco customers.
The colleague support team receives IT and Product related queries while the customer team receives ClubCard, Tesco Online and general customer service-related matters online or by maii and by telephone. Both teams are supported by an operational support team, to ensure an excellent customer experience and flawless operation to provide support tor Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

Customer and Product function provides support for the Central European commercial buying teams – responsible for goods purchased for resale.
Our team in Budapest works together with the buvers. buving assistants. categorv managers as well as other, connected parts of the retail business in the area of supplier listing, data modification and contract management, invoice query management, commercial margin recovery & system support. We also provide translation services for head office & store communications. Our team consists of multilingual colleagues providing services of the above business areas for the Czech, Slovak and Hungarian markets.

Enabling Services provides support for all CE TBST colleagues and responsible for the flawless operation of the Budapest HUB.
This function consists of many teams with many different professions. Our biggest team is the People Partnering team including the Learning and Benefits sub-teams. Our Transformation team and Enterprise Analytics team are working closely with our business functions to achieve business excellence and drive continuous improvement. Other teams like Finance Enabling Services, Corporate Communications, Office Management and Recruitment are also part of Enabling Services. Risk and Compliance function support the Business ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations, and provides risk management activity . .,Being compliant on legal, health and safety is our utmost priority.”
