Transformation Manager
Roles and responsibilities
The Transformation Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of the transformation plan for the operational function(s), coordination and project management of a variety of transformation projects, driving a culture of Continuous Improvement, identify opportunities for automation or technology interventions, as well as building a strong partnership with Tesco business stakeholders.
- Work closely with TBS & Tesco Business Function Stakeholders to understand regional landscapes and identify the appropriate transformational opportunities
- Create & manage the Transformation Plan for the operational function(s), including managing benefit reporting
- Project manage or drive key strategic value generating transformation projects
- Learn and apply Tesco CI Framework, method and tools
- Embed a culture of Continuous Improvement at all operational levels through planning and executing CI Waves; sustaining CI culture through coaching & mentoring teams/individuals, delivering tangible benefits
- Complete post implementation reviews to ensure CI tools and techniques have been successfully deployed in an area and CI culture is being sustained
- Supporting Transformation Leads in training & coaching teams/colleagues in CI methodology, and identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions
- Supporting individuals and teams in getting CI certification (where desired)
- Identify process improvements and opportunities for automation
- Build a pipeline of automation opportunities, working closing with the Digital Transformation team
- Ensure that processes are continually optimised to deliver efficiency and cost savings
- Provide regular progress updates to all level of stakeholders & report benefits to business at defined intervals, i.e. managing appropriate levels of governance
You will be great in this role if you have:
- 5-7 years of professional experience
- University education
- Advanced English
- Experience or Qualifications in Lean Six Sigma programmes
- Experience or Qualifications in project management techniques
- Experience in Change Management
- Strong Analytical skills
- Logical mindset
Advanced coaching and facilitation skills - International Stakeholder management at all level
- Ability to lead, influence and deliver results
- Understanding of Automation Technology
