Our first Tesco Business Service has been established in 2004 in Bengaloru, India. The next step now to set up a brand new Tesco Business Services team for Central Europe. The team will be based in a new business services center in our existing Vaci út office in Budapest and will create hundreds of new specialist roles. The new team will provide dedicated support for colleagues and customers in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.

Roles and responsibilities:

Under supervision, will perform a variety of clerical work, and provide support services to various departments; and perform other related duties as required.

Main responsibilities:

  • Working closely with senior managerial or executive staff
  • Providing administrative support to the Tesco Business Services Budapest hub lead
  • Assisting the daily work of Communication Partner, particularly with translations
  • Draft and edit communications copy (e.g. publications, social media posts)
  • Assist in maintaining web content and executing social media strategies
  • Organising events and conferences
  • Helping with time and daily management, scheduling of meetings, correspondence, note-taking
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
  • Preparing reports and presentations
  • Liaising with other departments such as HR
  • Facilitate effective internal communications

You will be great in this role if you have:

  • Recently finished or ongoing studies
  • Fluent English and Hungarian is a must
  • The ability to work accurately and consistently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) knowledge
  • Energetic personality who is adapting to changes easily
